The Backstory
I was so excited and honored when Locale Magazine reached out about doing a cover story and shoot.
They had a vision for an Audrey Hepburn-inspired shoot for their February 2019 issue, which happens to be their Modernism Week issue, so I was over the moon….river (sorry, couldn’t resist). I love that there are Jackie O. vibes too (can someone please teach me how to do that hair flip to my hair?).
Everything was shot at our home — aka Villa Golightly — back in October 2018 and it’s SO fun to see how it all turned out all these months later.

In the article, I gush about Modernism Week, share how we first fell in love with Palm Springs and ended up here (hint: Kelly Wearstler had something to do with it), and how we turned lemons into lemon-drop martinis (made with potato vodka, of course #glutenfree).
